Just completed a bespoke WordPress Training session for Jacqui at Inspiring Introverts this was a two hour session focusing on questions and issues around editing and adjusting a custom WordPress website.
We covered a lot of ground and all of the raised issues were fully explained and guidance on WordPress use was given. Questions regarding WordPress SEO, editing posts, pages and images were addressed along with website content formatting, contact forms and website subscribers.
Its great to give a confidence boost to a fellow WordPress user and I feel that Jacqui can go away to edit and improve this custom WordPress website. I’m happy to provide a follow up session as is ongoing, as required, WordPress support should this be needed.
If you would be interested in discussing your WordPress training needs I can put together a session match your WordPress training requirements. Just call 07732 614914or get in touch with the contact page.
I’m reviewing WordPress starter themes again for a series of projects that are coming up. If you are new to the starter theme concept they are well worth a look as they save a lot of development time and are a good base to build a WordPress theme from.
You’ll need to have a grasp of at least Html and Css to build and style your new theme and also ideally an understanding Php and JS. Here are my top three starters:
The University of Brighton Media Hub has just been launched, designed and developed for the University’s Student Union by Ant Tyler. This is a flexible WordPress website which acts as a media hub for students and staff to upload media content and blog feeds.
This modern WordPress website uses a responsive design and is mobile and tablet ready, users can log in and edit page content to keep the website up to date with fresh content. A custom feature is RSS feeds with blog posts being automatically published from related websites to media hub’s blog page.
This website project was designed and built from scratch to launch to deadline and budget. WordPress training and website editing tuition was delivered post launch to ensure ease of use going forward.
The Lyttg (London Yoga Teacher Training Group) website has just been completed and launched. This clean and clear Yoga portal has a responsive front end design for use with mobile devices and tablets.
This new Lyttg website allows registered users to login and view content only available to LYTTG members. Further WordPress features include an events calendar, reference document section, training session information and latest news posts. This website project was carried out to budget and includes routine WordPress maintenance and support as part of the website aftercare.

Just completed the design re-design and relaunch of atyler.co.uk.
A modern, clean and responsive WordPress theme was developed to bring this art/video/photography website up to date. I’m pleased with how it came together and I hope that you will enjoy the latest updates and creative projects that are featured on this image rich WordPress website.
Another day, another WordPress web design project and I’ve been looking at the latest WordPress themes. One major consideration is responsive web design as it is a must for multi-device access requirements.
Our new client wants the new website’s users to be able to view their new WordPress website on a number of ways including tablet and mobile devices.
Responsive design is a must have now and if your website isn’t mobile and tablet friendly we recommend that you look at this to keep your users engaged. This will help your user experience and ensure that your audience keeps coming back!
The All Things Design website re-design has just been completed and launched. The brief was to refresh the style, look and feel of this WordPress website and bring in recent architectural design project work that ATD have recently completed.
The new home page is clean and clear featuring “before and after” images to display the design changes that ATD have bought to their client’s properties. This WordPress design refresh was carried out with the minimum of fuss and included routine WordPress maintenance as part of the website project.
