I’ve just completed filming for my latest video project, all three sets of footage are now being edited. These will be released on my Vimeo Channel when they are produced and ready for release. I’m going to be working with a musician on the sound track which I’m looking forward to. A big thanks to the three dancers who took part in this project!
Beach Wood City is the title for my Dance Video project, work is progressing well with one shoot in Brighton complete. It was a clear and bright day on the beach for the shoot and editing has started on the footage. The remaining two shoots are now being planned and I’ll post on here with progress soon.
Plans are progressing with the Video Dance Art project, I’ve secured a great 1930s roof terrace in central Brighton for a location for one of the films. I’ll also be using a beach and a woodland setting to create the final film.
The latest creative project is well under way and planning is nearly complete for a series of short films on dance in the environment. This will be abstract figurative video art work. We have interest from some keen comptemporary dance students from Brighton University and the locations are being reviewed.
Shooting for the project will be taking place over the next few weeks and the resulting digital video film will be released on the Video Art page when completed.
Looking at some great video mapping and 3d imaging for future projects. There is some good creative short film online which incorporates dance really well. Will post up on here links to video mapping projects once completed.
I’ve just added a Video Art page to this site, have a look it features video taken around the river Adur at Shoreham by Sea in Sussex.
